Known problem. This is due to the devel catalogue being broken and nothing to do with firmware update

As said before, this current firmware update prepares for the next big firmware update called PR 1.1. Anyways, I also noticed that the white checker boxes don't appear all that often anymore in the browser. Is it just a placebo effect?

Did you use the Nokia Software Updater or the OTA updates? The NSU update will wipe the system, whereas the OTA update won't.

...works for me (just updated) but it took quite a while.

Besides the application manager I also saw that my rootfs did shrink from 83% to 66%.

So I guess it cleans space for the big bang

I too just got mine, mine is a UAE version !! I found it slightly more responsive, and UI is more snappier? Empower the Maemo !! \m/ *rock On* !

That's most likely just from rebooting. There's an existing bug where temporary files aren't properly cleaned up after installation of new packages. Rebooting will then clear up this data.
