thanks for any information
If you are referring to pin 3 on the battery then you have to change the resistor in the battery circuit to make it display 2600 or 2700mAh or whatever is needed.

This of course will have no effect on the Phone in terms or battery life/performance, only place this is relevant is battery.reporting.design nothing else.

And if you wire the battery's pin 3 together then it will be either normal 1320mAh or 660mAh showing

I finally got the aswer from the seller Lucia Lui @ AliExpress. I got the free shipping for the scud batteries to Finland. They couldn't change the shipping options, so I got instructions to make the order with that EMS shipping and after that request adjustment to the price before paying.

I don't know is this possible to every country so please ask Lucia Lui before making orders.

Other News about the Scud, polarcell that i have been talking to have tested a sample of 3 Scud's to 1474mAh, so even with their test it is still the best by far.

The reason why the scud is so good is because it is almost 1 mm thicker, which is no problem in the N900, it actually fits perfectly, where the normal BL-5J actually leaves some air between the battery and cover (normal & mugen), in the mugen cover i could actually fit a striped down SD card, which has been a plan i have not had time for, but the SD card option would be nice since this would allow 128GB expansion, or and EXTREME speed expansion (easy debian, nitdriod, swap etc...)

I would be nice to have 128GB extra, for many movies etc... or to have an 128GB USB "HDD" with you without having a 2.5" disk in your pocket also.

hi all, i've try the dual japod batt mod (will post pic latr now i'm charging them.) one thought is that to me the mugen cover is quite big unnecessarily, so i'm thinking about modding our stock batt. cover to allow dual batt. mod, the idea is that we apply acetone (which can dissolve most plastic) to the cover in a smart way so that it only extrude where the extra battery is. what do you guys think about this??

I've thought about that myself, the second battery would have to be offset somewhat to avoid the camera lens slider and it would look really messy (at least it would if I did it). I suggest buying a couple of cheap back covers to work on if you're planning this. It would be a bit less bulky than the Mugen cover though. And I'd love to see pics of the result if you do try this.

This was of course something i considered when i started to look into making my own battery, but when i discovered that i could by the mugen cover i abandoned it.
I think it will look bad... and the phone will be more chunky with a square hanging out in the back, mugen made the cover pretty good, not excellent because then there would be no rattling sound from the camera shutter switch.
I still have an extra normal cover laying around.

But again the mugen cover works for me, and these days i am really busy with a lot of things so i don't use my N900 much, so it goes for 3 days before recharge and this is still with all functions on (BT, WIFI etc....)

received 2 scud batteries this week. finding it really satisfying (able to use nitdroid for a little bit longer). one note: i found these batteries to be slightly thicker, however it fits inthe phone fine with the standard cover (not sure if this was already mentioned)
