Can CSSU-thumb be installed if I got KP51?
Or will my phone be downgraded to CSSU-Kernel ie KP50 including Thumb-packages?

Im just got a little confused about this.

It will be downgraded to kernel-cssu. But you may want to wait until KP52 is out and proven stable, a new cssu-thumb update will be out that will not flash kernel-cssu if you have KP52. Or you may want to flash kernel-cssu v.(next) which will have all of the stuff in KP52.

installed cssu-thumb on my spare n900, RAM usage after reboot 89M. I didn't use it enough to notice any battery drain problem since it's spare and has no apps installed on it. But it booted successfully and no crashing.

There is no battery drain problem with this kernel.

Can send, but receiving does not work, Get no notification
Since notification happens via an inbound SMS message, if you're not getting those it's your carrier blocking them. Many carriers have the N900 as a non-MMS capable device, since out of the box it wasn't.

I had similar issues with AT&T i the US when they updated their database to include the N900 IMEI range. Others have had similar issues when their providers have updated. (Check the fMMS thread for that...)
