call me stupid but i cant seem to get a proper fix. i press the PS button the n900 ask to connect the playstation 3 controller i press yes the bluetooth icon becomes blue and after a few seconds white again and asking me again to connect. and again and again.

I addes input in the main.conf, shut down the n900 and restart it but it wont connect. what am i doing wrong? are there conflicts with other programs known?

Sometimes the bluetooth icon stays blue but the controller LEDS keep flashing. dont stop anymore.

Is there a pc connectivity for linux? i thought there wasnt one. so how do i move on now?

i did these steps:

1. installed ubuntu on my pc (dual boot)
2. i opened the terminal and did the sixaxis with writing bluetooth adress thing and changed it in the controller.
3. I installed sixaxis support on my phone.
4. added input to the main.conf
5. rebooted device
6. activated bluetooth on n900.
7. Hit PS button on the PS3 controller.
8. Get message "accept connection? playstation(R)3 Controller". over and over again.

When do i need the PC connectivity and do i need to install it to PC or on n900?

I dont wanna reflash my device! last time i did it took me 2 hours to download and install everything back from the backup. its a pain!
