There isn't a white N9, but you can make yours white (or cyan, magenta, black or green) by adding one of these CC-1020 silicone covers.

Here's some more information about the N9 (and Symbian Belle).

http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum...5543&p=27#r531

Why are you and others cry about what we already knows!?!?

If you like N9 buy it. It will be supported!! It is running Qt same as Symbian! Support for N9 != no more devices from Nokia.

Why care so much about what not exists in two years?

In two years maybe Android is also dead or symbian or WP7 or WW3 has started!?

so why care!?

Buy the damn device or get something else Whe have enought of this talks about "dead platform" blablblabla...

Same goes for HP touchpad and WebOS if I could get that damn device in european I would buy it even if I know it is also "dead".

I dont give a **** what the ****king Nokia or other crapcompanys is doing in the future. I only know I will not buy a ****ing WP7 device. And hoipe too see a cool device from some others when I replace my N9 in some years...

WTF has N9/N950 got to do with Symbian.

If you take a serious look at Symbian Belle and Meego Harmttan UI you realise they not that different...

Both is using full Qt framework. My guess is also that qt-components for Harmattan and Symbian will merge in the near future.

Differences is with N9 the geeks can tweek a bit more than Symbian in lowerlevel stuff :-)

But the facts that both OS:es now have full support for accessing GPS/Acc/NFC/phone etc... directly from QtMobility API makes it even more easy to port apps between the platforms :-)

This is also why I think N9 WILL be supported longer, both from Nokia and appdevs, longer than case of N900. Many apps may very well work on both platform without massive changes of the code like it was with N900.

@mike: We'll see. Yes, it'll probably do well for a Nokia linux phone, since the only other measuring stick is the N900. It could conceivably do well for a phone that's been kneecapped by its company by a foxed, if not beared (har, har) launch campaign. But will it do well for a mainstream and arguably flagship smartphone by the company that in the days of yore was synonymous with the words "cellphone"? I'm not so optimistic about that, and I really hope I come to eat those words.

I think that there must be something going on at Nokia about what kind of support and what kind of push they're gonna give the N9. For it not to be released yet lets hope something good comes out of this, even though I know that probably something really wrong will come out xD
