I have all dependencies, it still doesn't build

Edit: Weird, ran apt-get --reinstall install linux-kernel-headers and it worked.

Strange, something must be broken in your scratchbox , with the above control file and all dependencies installed it builds ok here

edit: yeah, definitely something was broken

Sorry, my bad , actual layout is

/dev/mmcblk1p1 - fat
/dev/mmcblk1p2 - ext3
/dev/mmcblk1p3 - swap

and I have /dev/mmcblk1p2(ext3) mounted all the time, could that be the problem

And verify that it is executable. If it isn't (because you unzipped
it on a nonlinux filesystem) it might result in a reboot loop.
Sorry Nicolai, I did what you say about unzipping new camera-ui to /usr/bin on a linux filesystem (N900) and I got that reboot looping. This is the second time; first onw I needed reflash. Any idea to solve that rebooting loop before annoying reflashing? I tried 'backup menu' app to get at internal system but i doesn't allow me to enter login and password...

My guess is that since you unzipped it, it lost its execution bit, and dsmetool's rebooting the device.

Code:
flasher-3.5 --enable-rd-mode --set-rd-flags=no-lifeguard-reset
should suppress dsmetool's reboot, you just need to chmod +x /usr/bin/camera-ui in a root shell after that

Many thanks MohammadAG for your interest and suggestion. I'm not expert but I guess you talk about flasher-3.5 version for maemo. Am I wrong? The point is that I cannot get at Xterm since it's contniuously rebooting.

I've reflashed once again and, after that, only installed CSSU and camera-ui of Nicolai (of course also Filebox to get access to hidden folders). I couldn't unzip the camera-ui file directly on /usr/bin because it says I have not enough rights for it. So, what I've done is removing otiginal /usr/bin/camera-ui and then copy my new Nicolai's camera-ui in that folder. After rebooting, the rebooting loop appears again. Might it have something to do with that lack of priviledges and the way of deleting original camera-ui?

Thanks so much in advance

No, you don't need xterm.
This flasher command is the same you use for flashing
from your desktop computer.

Many many thanks Nicolai. Finally I reflashed again and started installing everything (a lot of things). I was thinking about NOT installing again CSSU and camera-ui because of that rebooting loop problem though I like very much those features; but with your suggestions I'll give it a try once again, knowing I can avoid reflashing again. Thanks again.
