I'm still stuck on this, can't go to maemo when I log out of ICEWM. Anybody got a suggestion so I can try to solve this ?
source /etc/osso-af-init/osso-gtk.defs
source /etc/osso-af-init/matchbox.defs
source /etc/osso-af-init/hildon-desktop.sh stop
sleep 1
source /etc/osso-af-init/matchbox.sh stop
sleep 1
/etc/osso-af-init/keyboard.sh stop
export PATH="/usr/bin:/bin:/sbin:/usr/sbin"
/usr/bin/icewm-session
source /etc/osso-af-init/matchbox.sh start
sleep 1
source /etc/osso-af-init/hildon-desktop.sh start

1. the keyboard bug locks up the machine (not only under other window managers but I seem to see it more because I put a lot more demand on my machine when using another wm)
2. dbus doesn't run properly under other window mangers (don't ask me why). This will keep apps like microb and various others from launching. This is the showstopper because you can't use several of the basic apps.

Great to know. It's on my build list, then.
Which keyboard bug? Not trying to be obtuse, but there's a passell of 'em, variously affecting various people. I find my BT keyboard experience to be (comparatively) trouble-free.
And I suppose that's definitely worth investigating, when I get to it...

On another thread, a bounty has set on getting microb running under another manager (KDE?) so once someone figures that out, we'll be free to do a lot more with our devices.

Sorry guys (800/770) no on-screen keyboard
cd /
tar zxvf /path/to/ICEWM4.tgz
Dont expect lots, this is for your minimalist Linux lover.
Lots more to be done, but I rather like it.
make sure you set the user password before starting xlock
This is 16MB compressed, less than 40MB uncompressed, fits right in flash.
