Ok I removed the download manager and installed fine.

However when I run Canola I get the loading animation in top right corner for a while, then nothing, it just goes away, nothing happens.

Tried restarting no help

Denvar : now we need you help on sending us the log from running canola with verbose..

I am only having one problem. Can I choose a folder on one of my cards for the cover art. I have so many albums it depletes my internal memory. Also the cover downloader freezes the tablet when getting art. I already have the art in a folder on the card and would like to use it first.

I think you can make a link to a folder on your card, and solve the problem... but I don't know if this works flawlessly. I will drop a note to Renato or gustavo to help you on this one...

But this one i think is possible..

It's really harder now.. as the bug happens to some people..not to others.. and people have so many different setup for their tablets, with lots of third party repos..etc

All my mp3 files have built-in cover art. I can't work out how to actually get them to display... All my albums appear but all album cover fames stay empty :-(

Hi dcroennau: the built in (or embbeded) album art are "used" first by Canola tuning, that creates the link between it and the music library (actually not a link, but prepares, the size etc and save them to make the use faster).

But we are having problems on providing the instalation for the 2.4. If you now how to install things by apt-get you can try to install it from the garage website.

This is one of the features we plan to integrate. We just need to makesure it goes smoothly (a wizard in the first usage or something)
