3 hours surfing?! 5 hours of mp3?! I've never had that long! Even when it was new! I think the longest it's lasted is 3 hours tops. It did go two days in idling once too. You are so lucky!!

ah, its not maemo-1, its maemo-launcher, with everything after the L cut off.
may i suggest the install of load-applet? it should give a cpu and ram use indicator, and has the ability to show a list of processes.
another option is installing htop, but i fear that may take a bit of apt work.
