Even if the KB can't drive the swishing, swiping and changing screens in Maemo, it should at least be able to fully drive the current application. I hope Nokia decision-makers realize the potential for marketing n900 as an awesome business device (coupled with the soon-to-exist Docs to Go, Quick Office or easy Open Office package that will surely come along...).
I'll second that...I would "chip in" as well

Ok, let me walk you through this:

- the topic of this thread is: [N900] Bluetooth keyboard: connection failed
- I could not connect my ThinkOutside/IGo bt keyboard to the N900
- instead I had to resort to using the E90 for typing
- took a picture and thought others might have a chuckle too

is there ANY BT keyboard that works decent ?
Absolutely. My idea as well. I´ve got a 10" lcd to use with the N900.

Bluetooth keyboard and headsets to use. I could be in business on that thing.

Hi Qobi,

thanks for your detailed post. I am however apprehensive about trying the procedure you outlined simply because I am so unfamiliar with this system and would hate to have something go wrong during the intervention.

Why the heck did it work for this guy? And "out of the box"?

His keyboard does look different than mine, but it's still BT, right? Even the name (ThinkOutside BT Keyboard) is the same as mine, although mine is iGo branded and made of aluminum.

Although uglier, bigger, and plastickier than mine I would consider buying it if I was assured it worked with the N900.

Can anyone shed more light on this? Thank You in advance for your contribution.
