Wow, how lame is that. Amazon still shows as "not yet released". I called and they still said that they have no idea when it'll be in stock. I was about to cancel mine from Amazon and order from nokiausa.com for a lil more. However, I did order but at the end I have no freaking idea why it said "Authorization Failed". Of course i have money in my bank and I called my bank and they told me they have no problem on their end. So i called Nokia customer service and been told that "our system is very sensitive, if you order it again after the 1st time that it failed, you'll have to wait about 4, 5 days before you can try it again". WTF is this, i ONLY did it once and it showed up like that, then i tried with a different card OVER THE PHONE with her. STILL the same s**t. Then AGAIN she told me to w8 4, 5 days then try again. I said what if the same thing happened, will i have to w8 another 4, 5 days and she said YES. WTF. I don't care if I have to pay a lil more cuz Im in need of a phone right now. My old one is killing me w/ dropping signals and stuffs. The freaking website said "INSTOCK" but i can't order. Tried 3 cards, NO LUCK. Anyone got this problem when ordering with nokiausa?

yea i have this problem too and for my great luck it happened with amazon today they was going to charge me and it didnt process :@ i called the bank and they told me that everything is ok i called nokia they said you need to wait till monday go to the bank bring statment and then order it :@

Just to warn you Bratag, be careful if you plan on ordering it on their website. It is VERY picky, i got "authorization failed" on 2 different cards, and they still charged me 4 times. That was a week ago, and I still have 1 charge on my account from them even though none of the orders ever went through. I called them and they said to not use their website but to call and order it over the phone instead to avoid that problem. I told them to go to hell and got it from newegg. Anyways I hope you are able to get it soon, just letting you know that nokia's site is ****ed up.

Order seemed to go through ok for me - hasnt shown up on my Amex yet - but then they are always behind in posting charges.

I already rolled snake eyes with them. Jerked me around big time with the 'card denied' thing. But I read your post and thought....aaaahhhh - c'mon 7-11!!! Feelin' lucky, I go to NokiaUSA.com...

But NO - card denied again! So screw it, I've still got a N900 pre-ordered from Newegg, About $60 less than it would cost me from NokiaUSA anyway, before Nokia's $50 rebate or only about $10 less after, but then I won't need to fool with a friggin' rebate either.

Never been shafted by Newegg so far. In fact just last week I got a great deal from them on a Sony HD LCD and had it in 3 days with free shipping. So I'll let the Newegg pre-order ride and see Monday if they keep the Nov 30 release date from when I ordered.

I chatted with them multiple times just like you did, and even went to their escalation dept. The fact you "chatted" with them had nothing at all to do with it. It's luck of the draw here.

Well that is it for me then.

If no one wants to honor the pre-orders by the 30th I'm canceling all my orders and sending a big middle finger to newegg. I used to send a -lot- of business their way.

Businesses only listen when you hurt their bottom line. I can't say that I will make a noticeable dent, but maybe I will.

I can't say it has been a fun ride; I hope everyone that has received their n900 enjoys it to the best of their ability. This has been an abortion of a trip for me. I used to be loyal to Nokia.
