as i tried to install the app it said:
"conflict with programpackages: libqt4-maemo5-svg (4.6.0~git20100111-0maemo1)"
...

EDIT:
removed the package via apt-get remove *libqt4-maemo5-svg*
it uninstalled fmrdsnotify too.
so there is a conflict between sib and this app.

then i did an apt-get autoremove which uninstalled all other qt-packages and some unused packages from an app-update i did before.

now sib is installing without any problem

got the update notification....was having trouble with previous release too....run xterm, apt-get update and SIB IS WORKING AGAIN!....love this app....

Yo plastic, maybe you can add more INFO onto the INFO tab. For example, shortcut key for switching between dual-audio (anime) and multiple subtitle. Some anime have dual-audio and subs so it would be helpful to know which key to press to switch between audio...can't stand dubbed anime....LOL...:P

I just did a quick check but I couldn't find any default key binding for switching the audio or subtitle track. I think you need to have a input.conf file to have them configured.

Okay. Thanks, Plastik. I guess I will look around mplayer's commandline parameter and see if I can pick up useful things...can't have you do EVERYTHING for us....lol...:P....I will look into that conf thingy.

EDIT:
After a quick googling...I FOUND IT!....Test it on an anime movie and it works.

"#" to cycle through audio (you have to HOLD the FN key (then press D) instead of pressing it once)
"J" to cycle through subtitle

HERE is the link to a list of shortcuts for mplayer. SOME of them may not work though. CHEERS!

Actually I tried enabling it again, but it's very very sluggish - not "kinetic" any more at all. This might have something to do with the style sheets that I used to change the visuals but I need to investigate this a little further.

I have this problem a couple time when switching between media player/kmplayer/SIB...I can't say for sure which one is causing it but I prefer sib over media player anyway so I don't mind much....

I've been using SiB since day one it came out and I never had such issues.
I play all my mp3's with standard media player and videos with mplayer+sib.

I highly doubt it's SiB anyways. All it is ais a gui front end sending scripts to launch the mplayer.
So maybe your mplayer is causing the issue. Make sure it's the latest version etc.
