Also someone may want to send only SMS not email, because getting Internet up may be a problem and allowing smtp-server may be unknown if there is new SIM-card or WLAN-connection. Or it should just be able to tell phone to ignore failed attempts.

Could you please add another option?
It should monitor the motion sensor and the charging status and after a threshold of movement or time without charging the phone should start to play an alarm sound as loud as it can.
This could be handy if you are travelling and you have to leave your phone unattended for a while (but near by) and someone wants to steal it or check out information on the phone.

- make sending SMS and mail seperate options. e.g. i want to set it up to send mails but not SMS. I haven't configured a number so now i see a message popping up saying "SMS has failed to be delivered to " or similar.
- explain better what is the password and when the user sets it.
- make an option to use a different email provider.
For know I have selected the best e-.mail provider in my country with the most often visited page( we have 40 million people ) should be fast enough even with 1000 e-mails sent at the same time. I am using more than 40 character password and is hardcoded in the code. I have implemented my own e-mail client, that is specifically adjusted to that certain e-mail provider. This e-mail account is created only for use of the application, I will never use it for any other purpose. I don't have any info of how many and what messages are being send.One more thing. Implementing e-mail client supporting different kinds of protocol is fairly complicated. I prefer to keep it simple and working

If you don't check any of the options in "mail" configuration window, you will not get any e-mails

But..., I have a version (not published yet for above reasons), that does not show itself in "Uninstall" part of application manager and does not allow you to remove it with dpkg
so...can you prompt a password request when user try to unistall it?

Well, not so bad maybe Remember to store "passwords" somewhere else than your phone:P

Works fine for me. The N900 sends by email and by sms his current location. The photos were totally black, but we know that the quality from the front camera isnīt quite good.
