Yes, I can see red battery sign on the background, but battery is fully charged to 100%. This is happening even when power plug is plugged in.

Hi
i got the same error, booted into android then my battery was low and the phone shut down.
now with a fully charged battery android still shuts down because of a low battery.
I deleted bq27x00_battery.ko module which be found under /system/lib/modules (Android rootfs).
Now it shows instead of a red battery icon an questionmark and on the locked screen it wants me to plug in the charger.
But it works know I think

You could have just downloaded a LiveCD and saved some effort.

I recommend using 512MB or more if you're using Linux Mint, its pretty slow otherwise(assuming you use it as a live cd).

Do you have pictures turned on in the browser? For those instructions you have to look at the pictures to see a lot of the settings. If I understand which step you're on, you need to make a Primary fat32 (ms-dos) partition. I made mine 100MB. The second partition should be ext3, and people have lately been making it under 2GB so they can install apps.

thanks Descalzo, but i still cannot get very far..

cd /media/
ls

does nothing.?

-------------------------------

These instructions are too general, need to be more specific.. wat folder?

You may close gparted now. Then, in the console, write "cd /media/", and then "ls". It will look something like this:
Step 10
Write "cd <name of folder>". You may auto-complete, so write the first character of the folder name you see and press tab.
