This question serves its purpose.. Mining out the possibility of frustration because of the feeling of getting cheated

But I bet the contract does not say you must use the N900 with that contract. Sure carry on paying the contract but you can still any device you want.

Was on contract few years ago and will (hopefully) never do same mistake!

Bought N900 in may and for the first time in my life took 2Gb dataplan, but I barely use 1Gb/mo as I found a lot of free WiFi points

Contract terminated (thanks to vodafone UK) so am sticking with N900 out of free will. Many commentators have already commented, there is simply no replacement for the N900. Not at least by standards it has set. None of the Androids/WP7 tempt me. I will stay with it for another year.

And always looking for another one. Whats better than a N900? Two N900's.

I bought my n900 brand new and sim-free in June.

It's amazing phone and I enjoy using it. However, 2 weeks ago I understood one thingy. The way I use n900 is not that extraordinary though pretty intensive sometimes. That's why I don't rate n900 as a non-alternative phone.
Still I decided not to change it because the main duty - chatting - it handles the best way! So n900 is for chatting, twitter(for now) and dictionaries(that the main reason I don't change n900 for something).

Soon iPad is coming and internet surfing will be its main duty=) N900 for the rest! And may be sometimes later I'll pick up something with 4.3" display, coz it's my size^^
