While not encouraged, if you really want to show off why not just slide out the keyboard and show them how to get the _free_ WiFi while the others struggling with poor mobile signal? I always do that in pub, then look at their offlined andro/iphone and ask "facebook? What FACEBOOK?"

No noone can help you.

If small things like this bother you and make you want to throw offending item into a river you are perhaps better off associating with mafia who often throw offending items into rivers.

Things do not always go as planned.

Advice: Lots of Cannabis. Reboot Phone before you sleeping at night.

How-To:
Meet them again, somewhere. Slowly, rise your middle finger, and show it to them.
Now, say this: "**** you all!"

That's all...

You need Flash Tweak... I don't know about the camera, yeah, not very good... But I don't care...

Install EasyDebian, Android, MeeGo, etc etc on it, and show it to them... Ask them to do the same with their phones, and when they failed, tell them that your device is more than a phone... What they have, is a good phone, what you have though, is the best mobile-computer in the world.

@AndyNokia232 Just read that you found the pics taken by N900 is not of good quality, even with BlessN900.

First of all, BlessN900 could only give good pictures under special conditions. It was like photo retouching but performing during photo-taking. Therefore you must experiment with it in order to get optimal results. It requires you to spend sometime practising.

Also, the default camera app is not that bad after all, it is the default settings that cause the problem. Here are some tips that could help.

First change the default ISO from Auto to '200' (during daylight) or '400' (lowlight), depends on the lighting condition. _Do not_ use 'Auto' ISO in any situation, it's known to be buggy.

Often case the default resolution is set to 3.0M, or even 1.3M. You'd like to change it to 3.5M or 5M. Most people fails to realize they're using low resolutions.

If you've changed the resolution to 3.5M or 5M, you must hold still for at least a second after pressing shutter, to circumvent the delay caused by multi-task processing. Yes, it sucks to run camera app under a true multitasking platform.

For the camera mode 'Auto', 'Closeup' or 'Portrait', you can see a focusing frame in the middle. Remember to half-press for focusing (until the frame turn from white to green) before full-press for photo-taking.

Most people does not realize that they need to focus before taking photo, thus the result of pretty bad quality photos. Such focusing mechanism is a feature commonly adopted by consumer camera but not usually found in smartphone.

Hope this helps.

at the end of the day if that's all you want a phone that will just work, go get an iphone, I will probably get stoned by any passers by for saying this. but really if that's all you care about get it, the iphone has it in buckets, it does the simple things very well so I recommend it if you want that. the iphone isn't as primitive people make out. if you jailbreak it you've got flash and people here are saying proper you tube, who gives a damn, a video is a video, so an application doing the job is no difference. finally the multitasking on the I phone is fine, there's nothing wrong with it, its simple, but effective. I don't use an I phone personally, a friend of mine does, and he loves his I phone and can see his point of view, but I would never give up my N900 for an I Phone because nothing can quite compare, unless its a internet tablet.
