had troubles with meego-obs & maemo-autobuilder - so I have uploaded the packages of v0.0.4 to google code -> links at first post.

AgentZ & gianco - this might solve the segmentation fault which might be because of to new server reponse. please try to install the new version (make sure you install for the correct phone), but before that run the following in command line:
Code:
rm -rf /home/user/.waze /home/user/MyDocs/.waze

Unfortunately, the search issue i mentioned earlier is still there for me. It also seems that i am the only one affected. Do you have any idea what might cause that?

i thought it was because of "transposition" calculation. Now i believe that it is a bug specific to certain parts in the world that were fixed in a later waze version that the one i based my code one.

The good news is that i will upgrade the waze code base to be in sync with v2.4 so some issues will go away while new ones will appear (until stabilized)

done and installed the latest v0.0.4 but unfortunately it gives the same Segmentation fault error and dont start. maybe is a problem due to Qt libs ?

The problem is - that I can't even get in the search section. The program shuts down immediately whenever I tap search new address, local search, contacts or even the search field on the top would bring me back to desktop!
I just reflashed the N900 firmware and nothing else is installed right now. Any workaround?

Overall - I'm so glad to see Waze on my N900. Cheers mate!!!

Anyone that encountered the the notorious segmantation fault:

can you please zip and attach /home/user/MyDocs/.waze/postmortem?

it is the file that is being sent to waze when clicking "send" in the crash recovery dialog (those dont reach me)
