Yes, that's intentional. On some of my prototypes, when I put non-slip on that back brace, it would make a pivot for the N900 to tilt on. As a result, on the stands I actually mailed, the non-slip coating is only under the side pieces.

Further, on the last two batches of stands, I've been thinning the amount of non-slip toward where the back brace slots in, to prevent any accidental pivots from forming while the rubber substance dries...

Just got it in Nicosia, Cyprus! It looks and works great, thanks for all your effort Fake.

I'll start taking it out of its PDAir Book Type Case more often now, although I have grown accustomed to it and am a bit paranoid about dropping it.

Fake: You'll have to put up a Google Maps site with pins in every city your stands have been sold to.

Just bought the home&office wooden set today. Looking forward to receiving it here in Denmark.

EDIT: I'm impressed exactly 34 minutes after receiving the "PayPal receipt", I received a "Shipping confirmation" for my order.
That's what I call efficiency! Thank you very much!

My stands (a Home & Office Pack: 2x Wooden stand pack), ordered and shipped on 17.02, just arrived this morning!
Very tightly wrapped and overprotected it proved quite some work to get it unpacked Putting them together went without any problems and now my N900 sits safely on its own stand.

Thanks a lot, Fake!

Way cool, Dries. And thanks for the extra bump w/your order -- I used it to get labels for the label printer I ordered. Should save me almost a half an hour of printing and taping labels each morning.
