You mean you didn't get yours yet? ;-)

Yeah, I thought Dave would've had his jPad already. I mean, after all his good deeds on this forums and all the complaining, you'd think Jolla would've given him one already :P

If they are shipping on the first come first serve basis, then it would be intetesting to know who is actually doing the shipping?

Are the tablets coming directly from the manufacturer or are they heading to jolla first?

What are the initial batch runs? ( ie, 1000 per week, 5000, 10,000)

How many people are actually working on getting these out of the door, for the shipping? If jolla only have a team of ten dedicated to posting them out, then even the early adopters may find themselves waiting.

I'm just interested in the logistics of how they plan to ship our tablets. And a little impatient now (as we all are). To add to this, I know that I missed the early adopters goal by a total smidge.

I can't answer all question for you but I could give you a small mathematical task to solve the number for you...

from jolla blog: "We sent out the “Jolla Tablet User Experience Questionnaire” in January 2015, and received 4728 responses, which makes up 65% of our Jolla Tablet Indiegogo backers from the first phase."

Hypothetically, of course...
He's certainly, uh... reassuringly relentless?

At least you know we'll never miss any news, the chances of Dave not finding any related articles are extremely slim.

Wish I had known about Jolla back when they were doing the crowdfunding campaign, very few people have heard of them in the UK (as you can see in the backers article).

Dave posting useful info? Sure sometimes, but the vast majority of the time it's other posters.
Anyway, lets stop being "Dave" here & posting very loosely on-topic stuff, that's of little-to-no substance.
JK dave, we love ya, but try to keep it toned down for more than 5mins if you can, please!

*EDIT*
I see you've self-censored some of your posts, fair enough, you've also reinstated some old self-deleted ones, okaaay.

Ok, I'll play...

Assuming that those who answered the questionnaire are those who have higher stakes in the jolla tablet, and that investors were not included as this went out to contributors. We can say that those who answered were buyers of the tablet.

Now 65% (4728) would make the total of tablet buyers at that time ~7250.

It would be nice to see some more definite figures for sure, but it's not like they can say “hey, we beat the land Pandora sales” to attract investors.

Why play the guessing game, the no's were already pretty well guesstimated, there's at least 1 thread that was tallying them up:

You can't, it was an option for backers, latest info is no way to extend it anymore (except with sd card)
