@silvermountain
Yeah until you need to reflash for some reason.

Does anyone off-hand have the mime-type information so that we can implement .install files to automatically open them with the Application Manager?

I'm opening files through the os, probably the .install files are handled directly...

Hi,

Here's a quick patch to enable the vertical thumb scrollbar in Tear. It doesn't monitor the value so the user will have to restart tear to see the difference but apart from that: it works.

Thanks to Jaffa for reminding me that it's if(thumb_option) rather than if(thumb_option==true)...

Bundyo, have to ask, what date are you aiming to release the next version? I'm pretty anxious to know as I love Tear. Again, thanks for this.

I didn't plan a date yet but probably in a month.

I have a suggestion for a future version of Tear - add an option to toggle drag-scrolling or text-selecting with a toolbar button, in addition to the option of holding down the Menu hardware button (which is kind of awkward on the N810). The idea would be to pan around the page, tap the toggle button, select your text, hold to copy, tap the toggle again to go back to drag-scrolling.

See mockup with hastily-designed icon below (the drag-scroll mode / text-select mode button is fourth from left. I tried to keep it away from the Reload or Back/Fwd buttons.)
