tre.se (the link from http://swipe.nokia.se/) just changed their N9 site from "are you interested" to "order" and price:

http://www.tre.se/Privat/Mobiltelefo...iler/Nokia-N9/

5395 Swedish kronor = 847.97531 U.S. dollars
You have to remember that Swedish economy is quite healthy at the moment, while US economy, not so much...

yeah n9 actually is pissing on WP7, Symbian and the iphone.

Like this comment from .viideo "in stockholm you see most people using Iphone, but we know people who buys n9 is already using smartphones but in the same time they want to be different something fresh and not something everybody else has cause its not fun if everyone is has same phone."

exacly what i think

and it seems strategy for n9 is northern and baltic as already guessed before. When MrFlop open his mounth he just talk to tyhe US where he think Nokias only chance is going WP7....

Yeah but even without your tax it's still way higher.
We have tax, not quite as high (10%)...
Even when one factors in your tax, we're still much cheaper.

Horrible english though.

no dont start a rumor. What he said was it is possible. I am not sure this means they will implement it in the browser or core OS.

I will have to get N9 from Mexico or Texas. If it lands in Mexico, it will find its way into Indian shops in Texas. I hope the only reason it is not landing in USA is because of WP7 debut. I hope it is not because of inferior quality and potential problems that will turn off American crowd.

Saw this post for UAE:

Not quite as good as that in Australia, but much better than EU still.
you can just compare a price from one continent to another that way.

better ask what.the price diff between Iphone and N9 in malaysia vs european? also the european/US economic problems may set different prices and so on...

LOL your favorite kind of comment. Look, if you have no idea what Mentor Graphic is, if you have no idea what the connection to Samsung is, and no interest whatsoever in any of it, why should I educate you?

I have several compelling reasons to suggest it, but none of those would mean anything if you know nothing about Mentor Graphics. If you did knew a tiny bit about Mentor Graphics, then those reasons would make much more sense than going meego or webos.

Tis amazing, there's at least 6 of these now. Most are excellent.
Weird how there's so much focus on File Managers...
Be good to see some collaboration between some of the devs, if/where possible.

Pretty positive impressions of Belle from GSMArena

Just some of the "Pros"...

funny about Belle is the symbian devs is using qt-component UI and qt-components project was started by harmattan team inside Nokia to make the new UI for meego harmattan.

Then some month after we could see alot of symbian commits in the repo. Now my guess is symbian will get more credit for it than Meego team. I am sure swipe will come to symbian to later too...

But I really hope Belle is good as they said cause Anna still sucks hell. Tried reflash and restore factory default on my C7 today still no ovi working
