Not saying that Wall Street is right, but at least I find it interesting that Nokia sells off while Elop tries to turn the ship around to improve shareholder value. Just saying...
I hoope it will half the shares if this rumors are true

Well it was all the same for the "followers" I mean do you see any netbook today runing Linux? I dont, atleast not in my country

So Microsoft still has monopoly...

Yes i have heard the webOS rumor and that's actually the OS change Nokia could make where i would not leave them immediately.
Mikecomputing If Nokia would start shipping webos phones you would be certain to get them in Sweden.

But really not expecting it to happen. Damn it's great to see this whole thing end finally tomorrow and i truly hope no OS changes will happen and i still got good feeling that that's the case.

Ofcourse they do, again its a "strategic game" btw. They also said they will show Android/WP7.

If Nokia chooses WP7, Google has won. WP7 is no competitor to Android.

Not today, probably not in near future. But they will keep trying.. and have the tendency to get things right eventually (look at Windows 7). "Winning" against Microsoft is a matter of decades, not days.

Quim Gil is hinting at a try up with WebOS via is Twitter accont and we already know Stskeeps has mention WebOS on here, seeing as those two should know meego more than most it must now be a fair chance a tie in with WebOS will be announced tomorrow.

Quim also states "Check HPs shipment dates announced yesterday. Wait few hours for the Nokia plans." which seems to imply Elop will announce full details of the new meego handsets tomorrow?

http://twitter.com/quimgil

That means either the the WP7 stories were a complete red herring or Elop will annouce a long term plan to replace symbian with WP7, leaving meego/WebOS for the top end smartphones. Alternatively he could just annouce a bigger tie in with Microsoft for Office etc on Nokia handsets in the future.

The WP7 stories weren't red herrings, they are nothing but hot-air speculation.
