DialCentral installed fine on my N900, and while a bit slow, works great, specifically for messaging. I'll continue testing various other features, though.

1.0.7-9 is looking really good!

Selecting Callback number from dropdown window no longer gives an error message.

Letters left is still hidden under hildon keyboard when text messaging. But honestly, I'm just grateful that it's back to being fully functional so I doubt I'll be putting in any additional feature requests from now on.

I'm happy enough the way it is. Thanks again epage!

Got a crash when hitting refresh while the LED notification was blinking.

DialCentral just closed.

Sorry, I wasn't running this through Xterm so I don't have an error log on it.

I'll try to reproduce it later if possible.

Cheers!

Okay. It happened again.

The only error Xterm gave was that a Segmentation Fault had occurred.

Good luck tracking that little weird bug down. *lol*

Dialcentral 1.0.7-9 on N900 wont let me log in - i've done an apt-get purge, removed the .dialcentral directory and reinstalled. Any ideas?

Epage,
I am loving the new user experience you have given us with the latest releases. Its really meshing together beautifully. **Can I make a minor suggestion. Again I'm going to try and explain. On previous builds, when I was done typing the sms to be sent, I was able to hit down on the D pad and then the middle dpad button to send. It was a nice work around to having the "auto spell" window that pops up over the send button. The way it functions now, hitting down selects the Dial button. I think I placed 3 calls today by accident due to habit. I can get used to the new way but found the old much easier. Keep the builds coming.

Your app saved my butt a few days ago. Thanks!

Two minor requests:
- the SMS edit window and virtual keyboard seems to need a bit of alignment. Not fitting properly and makes it look a bit messy.

- on the account screen is a 'log in' button that is still active when you are already logged in.
Would it be possible to have that button change to 'Log out/Change Account' when you logged in?

Thanks again, great application.

To have a segfault, my guess is it would be with the handling of dbus. My first thought would have been a threading issue but it doesn't appear so. I'm baffled. File a bug?

Err um, not sure? Could you upload your log (~/.dialcentral/dialcentral.log) so I can see if I can gleam any information from it?

I'm unsure if I can set which of those buttons will be first selected on the down arrow. What I have done is made it so that if there is any text written, the dial button becomes disabled. That work out?

Yeah, sorry about the alignment issues. My 770 is pretty much out of commission and my n810 and n900 both have hardware keyboards, so its hard for me to notice issues like this. I'm going to play with dropping the height of the dialog to see if it helps. I am also experimenting with changing how scrolling works to try and give me more space. Other than that I'm not sure what is considered the best way to handle this.

Yeah, I was too lazy to make it switch back and forth. Would "New Login" always appearing work?

Yeah, I figured that tracking down the seg fault was going to be massively difficult for you.

I can definitely tell you that this is something new from previous versions.

It's no big deal really, all I have to do is restart DC.

Glad you're still thinking of releasing better builds.

Are you enjoying your N900 or is that a dumb question?
