My wife has fairly long nails so on the N900
+ve: The touchscreen is very easy to use for her

nb she wants a simple knitting row-counter application

Okay, you convinced me, just realized there is one tiny catch. Orientation. I have not fiddled with orientation changing yet, so the 10 minute version will have fixed orientation. So, would you say it makes more sense to have a landscape mirror or a portrait mirror ?

While I'm not a primary mirror user (would scare myself every time) if you need that sort of stuff, I can hack it up.
