Ah, we're awake again.

Been using AbiWord for some time now and put it to the test on a number of occasions (editing my CV and typing out covering letters for job applications, some of which have been sent as attachments via the company's website application forms.)

It hasn't been without it's little hiccups though, which I'll report in the bugzilla when I collate them together.

But I can say it's a great effort to actually get this running as it is on the N900 and would like to see the development continued.

My N900 is on PR1.3 but Abiword launches with missing icons of the buttons, just like what was reported in running PR1.2. Any fix for that?

Thanks for the pointer. There are several different scripts in the thread. Which one does actually work (for PR1.3)? I don't want to risk messing up the system (again).

I've never used Abiword but a good place to start debugging any program is usually launching it from the command line and looking at the console output. To find out how to start it from the command line, find the Exec line in its .desktop file in /usr/share/applications/hildon.
