I guess since it contains GPL code they may leave it free or charge a small fee. Does it matter though I would pay for a licence! This app is that good.

Question to people that are testing Joukispot.

Did you guys just click start and then seletect your connection? Do we have to do any setting under DHCP and WLAN and WAN and all that stuff.. If u just click start and then select my Vodafone connection it comes up with an error..

JoikuSpot error code is 3-468-19

Cant even get it going and not sure how to do the DHCP and all that stuff

The GPL part (a kernel module) is very small, if they intended the software to be free (as in beer or speech does not matter here) for the foreseeable future they probably would have done things differently.

Of course the beta they have now needs to be free (as in beer) or they'd have hard time getting more than one person to test it.

True, but I am starting to think there must be some hardware differences, how can the same hardware have such different problems.

Maybe I am missing something, *#0000# displays

V 3.2010.02-8.003
RX-51, Nokia N900

does anyone get something different?

Joiku gives me a static IP address.
Same issues here. I can connect to the hotspot without any problems, but when it comes to connecting to the internet...nothing.

Yep, mines reboot from the first minute I`m connected...they must iron out the bugs before this becomes a great app.
