I think it installs the Runime with it - been so long since I originally install FF I can't remember now...

Very likely if you want FF 1.1 final you must completely uninstall any beta or RC versions. Or maybe that catalog setup doesn't work in Romania...?

All I can say for sure is I upgraded from FF 1.0 to FF 1.1 this morning with those settings and it definitely is a final 1.1 release.

Retire, relax, enjoy your family. It is just a browser. Not worth it.

But it's worth it to post the same thing in 8 different threads? You should take your own advice.

Okay so let me clarify for the confused minds (including mine)

http://www.firefox.com/m/beta -> will install the beta and this is what I thought was the new update as reported by whoever started this thread.

Only later I discovered:

http://www.firefox.com/m -> will install the 1.1 final and is definetly an improvement from the beta.

You can actually verify the version by going to the About page.

so there you go!

To be honest this browser is a little slower than microB but the UI enhancements and the ability to weave sync make it a very good second browser. I'm happy that its going to be the default on Meego. It's finally usable as an every day browser (I've been waiting since N810 days). btw my N900 is oc'ed to 850.

You need to update the plugin extention in the settings part, then reboot the phone vids run smoother for me now on this one, they look abit clearer for some reason too.
