See post #36 in this thread.
Create a file called panorama.install in /home/user/MyDocs
and paste the contents of the post into it. Save and open file manager.
Click the install file you created.

This my output when launched from terminal:
~ $ /usr/bin/panorama
Cannot mix incompatible Qt library (version 0x40602) with this library (version 0x40700)
Aborted
Maybe it's the libqt4-experimental that's causing it...
edit: removing those packages did the trick

I am in oz and installed it from ovi store, you will have to search for 'panorama' in the search field in ovi, its not in list...

I haven't had to wait more than a couple of minutes for it to render a picture, even around 180 degrees. We shall see when I capture some huge outdoor pics tomorrow.
It makes a good job of the image even though I wasn't really trying!
I am running the swapiness mod and am OC'd to 1ghz if that makes a difference (which I am thinking it might!)
okay - took what i estimate to be around 250degree picture from my balcony on a nice clear sunny day. It took 3 minutes 42 seconds to process. Admittedly this is not amazing but when are you in a hurry to take a panoramic photograph with a phone?!
