Eeeeeps

I wondered what had happened. Got the first Kernel Power update today, restarted and shat my pants when the Nokia logo flashed up briefly, followed by the penguin and all the boot gubbins appeared. I thought 'Ohhhh cr@p', but it booted after a short while.

Started getting "Operation Failed" from the camera. After tinkering about for a few minutes I uninstalled F-Cam and it started working again.

Got a second update this evening. the phone still continues to boot OK (eventually). Only use the Kernel for over-clocking anyway.

^did someone tried this solution and could confirm please that it actually works.
I have no u-boot installed, but multiboot with nitdroid, stock kernel and power-kernel v40 options and I don't want to mess something up.
I just would like to replace power-kernel v40 with the v44 one...

I appreciate any help.

Thx in advance,

Thank you for your tips. I tried to flash power kernel 45,44,43, and 42, but at bootup it reboots automatic. So i used stock kernel, and now it works =) My hardware revision is 2204. maybe this will help somebody. I used Win 7 x64 with XP Mode.
Now I try to reinstall the power kernel.

regards

1) get firmware .deb package from repo

2) unpack .deb (by tar or midnight_commander)
get file from archive /CONTENTS/boot/zImage-2.6.28-maemo##.fiasco

3) reflash device with this image
to do this you need preinstalled flasher-3.5 :
flasher-3.5 -f --flash-only=kernel -R -F zImage-2.6.28-maemo##.fiasco
press 'U' key and plug USB to device

thats all
