So can't you just compile the necessary modules of bleeding edge drivers to your kernel so we can enable monitor mode and lxp's kernel features? As of I know someone on the BFS thread already compiled them with BFS kernel for n900

Does that mean you have now the Kernel v46 with your patches?

Yes, my published deb packages (and git repo too) are power-kernel v64 with my patches.

I'm preparing recorvery (emergency) shell console for bootmenu which will use framebuffer output. So recorevery console on n900 (without needing to connect n900 to computer). So I think this is what you want with framebuffer (then of corse you can see kernel output).

As I wrote I did not know how multiboot working. I think it is simple to add new multiboot entry for other kernel (bootable/flashable image is in my -bootimg deb package). Ask for this in multiboot thread.

framebuffer kernel message output break bootmenu (output). So it is not staticly linked into kernel, but as external module (console programs, like which I'm prepairing for recorvery mode, can load this modules). But it is possible to load framebuffer modules at bootmenu exit.

And for dots I see on this. As I know dots are running before X server starts.

Yes I know, but I do not have time for playing with this.
