When you run waze for the first time, are you connected to the internet with a stable connection?

According to the log it looks like a lot of failed connections...

I use a stable WiFi connection inside my house. But is it something to do with those crashes when I go into search?

i searched in /home/user/MyDocs/.waze but no files named postmortem

i guess because in my case waze dont start up. if i try to start waze from the icon, it seems to start up but i can only see the gps icon appears and disappear after one second, and than it closes/crashes. same thing starting from terminal, after 1-2 seconds it closes giving the "Segmentation fault" message.

can i try to start with a debug mode option? something like ./waze --debug ?

Problem solved! I installed CSSU and now it works fine. Finally I got Waze back again, after my N85 has been stolen. I missed Shimon's voice so much.. You saved my day(s), @damagedspline.

I was facing the same problem (you just described it better), when I installed the CSSU. The alpha version (qwazer) was depended on CSSU and failed to install without it.
