@n950
if youre on an n9/n950, simply add add my openrepos and use apt-get.
https://openrepos.net/user/399/repository

on debian, you should be able to do dpkg -i qtemail*.dev && apt-get -f install

heh, never thought about delete, since i dont delete emails. sorry about that.
(i have about 100,000 emails in ~/.cache/email. qtemail was designed with my hoarding in mind)

ill add it to my todo list. i use qtemail as my only email client on desktop and n9, so i still actively develop it when i get down time from work.
(you would want it to actually delete the emails on the server, right?)

I want to delete email received/sent one by one or all together.
Anyway very good work you do with this qt client

Hey, I'd like to send e-mails via cli. What I get is:
Code:
~ # /opt/qtemail/bin/email.pl --smtp WORK test test test@xxx.com
Unknown account WORK
Although I have just set up an account with this name with the help of GUI

can you paste your ~/.secrets file? (IMPORTANT: edit out the password)

Code:
email.work.password = xxx
email.work.port = 993
email.work.server = imap.yandex.ru
email.work.smtp_port = 465
email.work.smtp_server = smtp.yandex.ru
email.work.user = xxx@yandex.ru
and also:

Code:
~ # /opt/qtemail/bin/email.pl --smtp work test test xxx
Unknown account work
Tried downgrading to version 0.0.1 through dpkg – the same result.

hmm, i just tried with your exact ~/.secrets file and it worked for me (it said 'error authenticating user').

perhaps youre running it as root, or the secrets file isnt located at "$HOME/.secrets" somehow?

try upgrading to latest from git: https://github.com/teleshoes/qtemail
