I think like for messaging-ui its good to have the contact page but in an app like Wazapp thats geared towards IM chat with speed being important the opening and closing of the contact page is cumbersome...A drop down menu would make the task easier...

I think the features related to the chat in quesion (single or group) can be shown in the drop down like I mentioned earlier (mute, block, silence, oh and COPY NUMBER
) aaand everything else can be shown in the profile page.Like the screenshot below: tapping the contact pic (red box) will show drop down, and tapping the contact name or that area beside the pic (blue box) can take you to profile page. How's that idea?

Or maybe a 3 dots icon at the end of the drop-down menu for opening the contact page? So it won't confuse people whether to click the name or pic...

Hi,
I guess you probably know this already, but if possible, could the next Wazapp version have the message alert volume adjusted to be same as the common message/ringtone volume is in the phone.
Now the message tone is played with full volume always unless phone is totally muted or "no sound" selected for chat alert.
