Thank you for the url. I am amused by the fact that syncing remains possible.

I never even use the webinterface. Didn't know you could edit your notes there, too. So for me personally it's okay, although I don't agree with the author (on omgubuntu, see below for url). In my opinion, half a feature is better than no feature at all.

I mean, Tomboy is crashing a lot. Imagine they'd remove that because it "doesn’t work as well as it could".

We could drop the whole Ubuntu thing because it "doesn’t work as well as it could". Heh.

As reference for other readers, let me quote your earlier source:

Always good to hear that someone is still using it It would be very nice if someone takes over, but so far no one contacted me...

That would be bad but from the other comments it looks like sync will still be available. Also there is Snowy and Tomboy Online. But I don't really know about the current state of those.

Sync stopped working today. Maybe one.ubuntu's api has changed cause it doesn't give any reply? purge + reinstall didn't help
No problem on my oneiric-pc.

Sync just stopped working and the error message came in less than a second. I understand that Reply:(null) ain't something that is expected but what has happened?
I removed all notes and conf-file and purged. All the same.

Edit: switching from wlan to 3g got further. I got redirected to the authentication page. After naming computer 'MicroB cannot establish connection to a server at 127.0.0.1:14680'

Edit2
After a couple of unsuccessful attempts authentication was granted and sync works again.

I'm glad you've solved this.
Not sure what the issue could be though

Is it possible to make Conboy look like the xterm with green text on black? I mean where the text is typed.

I use Conboy all the time on my N900 - I'm very appreciative of your work!

I would like to help with the development, but I'm not sure if I have the time. Isn't it better to focus on the version for the N9 now? What is Conboy developed in?

Conboy for N900 is developed in C/Gtk+/Hildon.
Conboy for N9(50) is developed in C++/Qt/QML

If you're interessted have a look at the code. Contributions are always welcome

N9(50): http://gitorious.org/conboy2

I am using conboy together with tomboy in easy-debian where I sync my notes via sshfs (fuse).
I would greatly appreciate to have this in conboy too.
Then everybody can have his own syncing service on the host he wants and isn't dependant on ubuntu or some other hoster.
What do you think is it very difficult to implement that in conboy?
