How much free space does it need? I have 25~ megabytes.
you need over 45mb free for OTA so go to here to look at how to free up space, you might also have conflicting package so might need some more help after freeing up space

Help.

Tnx.
It also happens to me. I solved this way:
- charge the batttery ( http://thpmaemo.blogspot.com/2009/12...y-in-n810.html, or with a nokia 5800).
1. remove battery
2. connect USB cable
3. start flasher-3.5 from command line http://wiki.maemo.org/Flasher#Flashe...sage_examples.
4. insert battery
5. flashing starts

Ok, so i flashed and restored everything, including my application list, which led me to install all my previous apps (not many, about 8-10) but I somehow missed your post about this 'bug' about not cleaning up previous app space (even though I read through this ENTIRE thread).
so is it worth uninstalling everything and cleaning up? and if so how do I do it?

is it safe to do this update? please can someone adviise me on this, as the previour minor update that came out a few days ago almost bricked my phone as it stopped at 1sec remaining with NSU, I had to then re-flash it using the flasher tool and the previous firmware. And now ive noticed my handset rebooted itself whilst i was using it the other day which never happened before.
So is it safe to do this update? anyone know why that happened with the previous update?

please help

I guess you can just use it when you know you're only planning on reading and not typing....it's not a total loss!

And while I've got your attention, may I copy your thread about portrait mode over to maemo freak?
