I have just called Nokia Flagship Store in NY City. They said they didn't have the phone and they expect to have it in about two weeks...

Nokia could be like Apple, and not give any information about a product until it's already sitting in stores.
On the other hand, they could tell us once they've finalised the product and when production has begun (which is what they've done).
Would you rather that they had not told us yet? It could be better for PR... But I think they thought they were doing the community a favour when they made the announcement, keeping us in-the-know, showing us some respect; not trying to piss people off.
Hence, I think we should thank them and just be patient!
