lol yes, yes, much thanks maxximuscool, you're keeping me on track.

I just did a 3G speedtest and I got 3.24Mbps down and 1.12Mbps up. I'm speechless! Will check wifi and charging in a few minutes.

Faint light leak under X and C and mic work.

@Laughing Man Just turn the lights out in the room and let the keyboard light up and then see if there are slits of light beneath the keys.

Yes that light leakage is a bit of flaw in designed. Hope they fix the leakage. Its really annoying when you're trying to use in the dark. The stupid white line appear and it's quite bright for some device. Some are worst than another.

I guess you've one of the fortunate N900 owner. Lets hope I would be the same too. Else i'll be gutted because I'm not in USA, gotta send it 2 way back to Nokia lol.

I ordered on 11-20 and just got off of the phone with customer service.

They told me that in their system the ship date was January 22nd, but that the rebate would still be honored, even though I would be receiving the device past the deadline. They also said it could potentially ship earlier but that the 22nd was the date they currently had in the system.

The customer rep I was speaking wasn't aware that some early Amazon pre-orders had already been shipped. I told her that information was available on the forum for the N900. I got the feeling that she really wasn't sure about anything....

Oh well, I thought I'd relate what she told me.

Which meant what? They holding off the phone? or is she just act dumb. How could they not know if their order have been shipped to people? What sort of company policy is that? Just erase memory after each time they ship the device?

Jan 22nd is unacceptable. They could do better, Nokiausa and Buy.com already offered instock items.

Man, January 22nd??? I hope this is just a case of a rep who didn't know what she was talking about. That's unacceptable.

To all my friends and enemies I have had a really terribly bad news for you all. For who ever still have not received their Nokia N900, Who ever still pending on "SHIPPING SOON" status, and the "NOT YET SHIPPING" people like me.

Amazon just confirmed the shipping date for the next batch of N900, they ran out of N900 to ship to the October customers. Now they are waiting for the next batch to arrives.
Below is the email from Amazon confirming their release date.

Hello,

I've reviewed your order details, and I'm so sorry about the trouble you've had.

We expect to receive this item form our suppliers in between January 27--January 29, 2010. As soon we receive stock we'll be able to ship it to you.

As per our standard policy, we do not charge you for items until they enter the shipping process, so you will not be charged for this item until it is available and we have shipped it to you. We are working hard to obtain these items for our customers
If you need to make any changes to your order, you can view the Order Summary here:

I'm sorry I don't have better news. We hope to see you again soon.

Thank you!

So I guess People who has not get their N900, you guys would better off to go with any other Retailers if you don't want to wait for 2 more months to get your device.

very bad news.

Google Doctor already confirmed that Amazon have got an infection of the ID-10-T virus. They will be operating very slowly and according to the world health organisation, the ID-10-T virus is an old virus that almost rare to catch.

Definition:
ID-10-T (noun -> verb): a virus only affecting who is very stupid and very dumb. ID-10-T can be put together by taking the hyphens between the letters and it will explain as IDIOT
