so you have the newest powerkernel - thats ok.

but the new powerkernel dosent work with the jailbreak, you have to use multiboot an boot up with the standard-kernel - that den jb will work again

i am interested to know more about this app, where can i get a tutorial for use with n900, and how to make my games backup.

do the backups has to be in the ps3 HD only and how much time it takes to make 1?

You can also use USB hdds if you so wish, no need to be on the PS3's own hdd.

It really depends on the size of the game, but 10 minutes is probably the most it can take.

10 minutes for a whole blu ray disc, like heavy rain maybe .. wow
i thought maybe like an hour.

is there something negative with sony by doing this,like if use it online, and maybe they find out and block your machine, similar to xbox

hi guys/gals,

really struggling, feel like a douch for asking but every time i cat hermes_payload.bin > /proc/psfreedom/payload all i get is no such file or directory?? i have unziped the file to n900 and it can not find file or directory lmao, any help would be apreciated.

and location of the file is in file manager, bottom off page so i am asuming it is in root? please help

It should be fairly self-explanatory: yes, if Sony found out you were using a jailbreak they could permaban your ***.

When you're browsing files in file manager and you aren't browsing the SD card then you're actually browsing files in /home/user/MyDocs. So, the location of your file is actually /home/user/MyDocs/whateveryourpayloadiscalled.bin

Now, for cat to work you need to modify the line to:
cat /home/user/MyDocs//whateveryourpayloadiscalled.bin > /proc/psfreedom/payload
