Your disdain for ads made my day. Keep the hate coming, though. I need all the ammo I can get to make sure ads don't wind up in our app

You found ammo refill! +1 ammo from Ndi.

I'd pay for features if you have a decent price and take PayPal. Maybe individual features, ideally. I'd pay for sync lyrics and EQ. Don't care for crossfade. To each his own.

No to ads!
Down with those ads!
Those ads tuk er jerbs!

More seriously: I'd pay to have features.
Lyrics aren't one of those things that I really care about.
I will pay for better "Identify" success or voice command support.

I will grudgingly pay for gestures - grudgingly because I know Qt has gesture support and for all the free stuff you've provided if gestures cost money then its weird.
(Gestures was just an example, btw)

You may want to consider pricing per feature.

How come other services don't charge for lyrics, like Songbird, lyricwiki etc?

And +1 for the EQ suggestion

Ads are horrible, please no. You have so far a really good application with potential. Please don't ruin the experience with silly ads. Rather focus on the features and if neccessary, apply a one time payment.

Completely agree, I would rather pay for a good product than have to put up with ad support...

Also could care less about lyrics, dont need them in a mobile player at all! Just want a player that is easy to navigate, feature rich (equalizer, album art etc) and allows music to be easily found and selected on the device i.e. 3000+ songs can be tricky to navigate on a smaller screen!

Just for clarification, everyone seems to be talking about a lyrics downloading service. My vote was for embedded lyrics support. I don't care for automatic retrieval on the device, what I want is for the device to display the lyrics from the MP3 file.

I use the PC to manage my music collection. I find that manually combing a five digit number of songs and associated media is a task that should not be undertaken on a portable device. Personal opinion.

Peter, did you know ads is the most hated thing on the internet?? Now you know!

Anyway, I am willing to pay for the lyric functionality than to deal with ads. I don't think it cost much. I will pay for the functionality of the ability to change arts also. Also, i like to pay for a "repeat" option for single song and entire playlist. And a landscape mode that change arts when swipe.

That's all...looking forward to next update.
