Yes indeed it is so but it never did this before the latest CSSU. Of that I am certain on my n900.

@Pali & others helping this along.
Is there a changelog, or even a summary for those still running v46?

Also, is it ok if someone not on the dev or core testing teams posts (i.e. someone like me) in that "ask the council" thread about what estel asked for? If they're being slow, for good reason possibly, the request should be out in the open.
- I assume this is the reason v47 isn't showing on the package page that gets linked to by FAM's package link button?

Sorry if it look like I loose patience, but damn, can you please use this command line as root, and report here the output :

Code:
clear && ID=$(id -un) ; if [ ${ID} != "root" ] ; then echo "You are not 'root', please use this command line as 'root' ..." ; else echo "Ok, you are 'root' ..." ; if grep -q "blacklist bq27x00_battery" /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist 2>/dev/null ; then echo "Patch already applyed, nothing to be done ..." ; echo "" ; else echo "Applying patch now ..." ; echo "blacklist bq27x00_battery" >>/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist ; echo "" ; echo "DONE, PLEASE REBOOT YOUR DEVICE ..." ; echo "" ; fi ; fi
Obviously, if this command line output "DONE, PLEASE REBOOT YOUR DEVICE ..." as last sentence, report and reboot the device (I mean don't wait for me asking you to reboot ...).

A++

but unless devs properly trim it for the n900 it will downgrade the n900 performance istead of upgrade
