actually i was referring to the browser....the pages open slow....but way faster than blazer....gonna try the css & hosts.......and use the mobile homepage..well disabled most of the stuff....only kept flashblock cant seem to get greasemonkey working....no biggie...id say over all that im down to 10-15 seconds...

I still think the sysctl changes improve interactivity under load, but not enough to justify making a mess of people's systems ( yet ).

GrandCentral calling script. Using a SIP account and a small script I have wired up sip: and tel: to activate a custom script so that I can get free outgoing calling ( check the GrandCentral thread for an overview ). This is an extension of the work wiring up the tel: URI format.

I'm intrigued now, the kernel tuning does seem to work well, I'll see if I can add to them.

well since ive fine tuned my n800 i find the experience more enjoyable...less laggy....got the fonts just right....someone mentioned an bit of code that was echo something or other to lock the processor in 388.54...everything is working good...any way to make that survive between reboots
