Hi,
First of all, I would like to thank the author for a wonderful job until now. I love the application because it uses the Mplayer very nicely to play even those clips that the internal player refuses to play.

Now I have a simple question
- In the add folders, I would like to put the uPnP (and DLNA) sources that I have in my home network. Until now I have not been able to figure out how to make my device list those files too. I have a limited number of files on the device but most of my media is lying in the Buffalo Live NAS server which is able to do uPnP. I have tried to play the files using the internal player and KMplayer but both fail to play most of the files there. I would like to try out with SiB but don't know how!

I also have a small continuation question.
How can you see clearly the location of the files like in File explorer. I have trailers and main movies etc. in different places. But all that I get is a long list of the files. Only way to separate them is by watching the length of the clip. If there was a easy way to go to a desired folder only.... Or is there?

Sorting got fixed after a reboot.

No, there isn't one. There is no media sorting by folders. I have requested but not sure if it's being looked into.
Only way currently is for you to rename all the files with a different prefix for its categories.
Then you can sort by file names at least and they will all be sorted in order in one big list.

Thanks jakiman!
Can anyone guide me, how to get the file listing from the uPnP/DLNA sources? There is a button to add the folder to monitor but how do I get the uPnP souces monitored?

@plastik

There hasn't been any updates for the past month so I was wondering if you had anything new planned?

Here's some of my suggestions / wishlist:
1. Allow custom mplayer script for launching the video files from SiB. (dunno. via some conf file maybe?) (or maybe you can just create such option in SiB?) I rather watch some videos full screen than watch it in smaller screen with correct ratio. So I would like to use -zoom option in mplayer. (or zoom=yes in config file)

2. Instead of Info button, maybe change this to a delete button? (so I can quickly delete video files I finished watching) Delete confirmation is needed I guess. =)

Sorry for the late reply guys, I'm currently quite busy doing other stuff as I just moved.

This would definitely be a very useful feature, but I feel this is something that should come from Mplayer, as a key press.

I was thinking about adding an advanced settings dialog where you can visually change the Mplayer settings, though.

Yes, this could also be a very useful feature. But wouldn't it make more sense to (automatically) mark finished videos in some kind of way, instead of deleting? I mean, you also can't add videos from inside the application.

I would love an advanced settings dialog to launch mplayer via sib with specific parameters.

Such as fill screen mode. (I don't mind stretched video)
