read here for more info: bugreport
No. Fixing *#06# to check the IMEI is useless particularly since you can check the IMEI from settings-> about.

The bug fix that I am referring to is here. It says it is FIXED. But apparently, it is not included in this firmware update.

Quoting myself here ... seems that this bug has bitten me. Anybody else?

I am very happy about the update. Since my old E51 did not support OTA and conserving user data I found the Maemo update to be extremely user friendly in that sense. I see also that many small bugs are gone and the overall responsiveness is better.

I noticed a small wierdness though. I have a mpg video on SD and while the media player played it before the update that is not the case anymore. I do have Extra Decoders Support installed (and upgraded it from extras-testing) it but still no luck. This is not a big problem since mplayer plays the file but still wondering reason for this. The video is mpeg1 encapsulated in mpeg-ps.

Also my update didnt go well. Had to flash device with older firmware and then do the update process again without any other software installed.
Apparently after the update all the notification lights are turned back on. I had all but sms on mine off prior to update. Go to Settings>Notification Lights and choose the ones you want.

Guys, you lose ~10 megs in root because there are more QT libraries installed (ick).

I couldn't OTA update until I removed ioquake3. I had 65 megs of free space, after starting with 22, and I was about to give up until I saw other people removed ioquake3 and it worked, and it did for me, too.

the bug, battery died in 6 hours isn't fixed. in other words, same as before. if you ever turned wifi on then switch it off without reboot, all the power is still consumed within several hours.

If you have a modified camera shutter sound file, after updating to pr 1.1 the original sound file is restored, so you'll have to change it again.

As one of the previous posters noted, some videos that played fine before the update now have issues. The sound will play just fine but the video is stuck on the first frame of the video file. I suspect its a video codec issue.

Other than that everything seem much the same. Portrait browsing is a nice plus.
