Got tired of the N900 and purchased a Samsung Wave S8500. 3 weeks with the wave, and I am back with my N900 Still, the wave is definitely cool, as is Bada: Super AMOLED and super smooth, but...

My next phone will be a Nokia, preferably Symbian with a real screen and HW keyboard and OVI integration. The E7 is tempting, but not really an upgrade from the N900, not when taking the price of the E7 into consideration. MeeGo is still just a bunch of hot smoke, and it will take years before it is up to Symbian regarding functionality, if it ever will.

I just bought a droid 2 global to replace my lost n900. It will keep me going until meego get themselves in order hopefully. I know I'm gonna miss the FM transmitter, TV out, and the UI and customisability of maemo but hey, at least I will see what the other side have to offer...plus I won't look like such a nokia fanboy now

You have to get the "NOKIA" tattoo on your left cheek removed before you will not look so much like a Nokia fanboy.

Yah the n900 was fun while it lasted. Yah Nokia had to announce MeeGo and conveniently declare the n900 obsolete, just like the n810 conveniently didn't have enough have hardware to Maemo 5. I bet when Nokia releases the n9 right afterwards they will announce MeeGlow or Maelon which will totally be revolutionary and not be released for several months and the n9 will conveniently not be able to run it and require you buy the n1000, which will have proprietary Nokia crap on to prevent you from running Nokia's MeeGo on the n900 and n9. For me rather than deal with the crap that Nokia brought upon Internet tablets I will get something from HTC, Samsung, Archos, Acer, or one of the various Chinese manufactures who at some point will drop support but are sold at reasonable prices and have easy to hack firmwares.

if not n900 then some other maemophone witch isnt yet made pecause im planning to use my n900 for a while since i bought it couple of weeks ago :P i think maemo is the best thing that happened to me since i got rid of my 5800 with symbian... symbian is allways crashing, freezing or randomly rebooting and now i got a phone i can actually call people without constant fear of annoying things to happen during an important call from work (or mom <3 )

Trying to convince my boss to buy me an iPhone 4. If he does I'm gonna drop kick this bad boy over a fence!
