To be honest, I don't think they've had a real introduction to the phone - it's clearly been kept away from UK suppliers, no big mystery.

There's much more going on, that we're not being told about....

Or perhaps Nokia makes it clear they're assisting in advertising for Windows Phone models, but N9 is not receiving such push in these markets. Makes it pretty simple then for the money hungry telcos .

It may even be that they are boycotting Nokia altogether, in which case the excrement is really going to collide with the ventilation apparatus when the searay comes out.

I don't think there's a big conspiracy - no guns are being held to peoples' heads. This is a sin of omission not commission.

That's a good/practical point...
WP/Searay is where the money will be going for advertising in this particular market.
So why back a phone that Nokia doesn't intend to push with it's massive WP advertising budget.
I hate cold hard business....

Yes that's probably part of it.

well he replied to my e-mail too

Thanks … I will share those concerns with
the team. We are indeed committed to the Qt
development platform, so we expect to
see more app’s there in the future. Regards, Stephen
From: ext Maurice Fakhry Friday, March 09, 2012 14:06 To: Elop Stephen (Nokia/Espoo) Subject: N9 support Dear Mr Elop, I am writing to express my concern on
the app side support for the nokia N9 .
First thanks for the completion of firefox
and flash for it . And second as we know
the meego team is shrinking and the
PR1.3 will be a bug fix release with some valuable additions. But closing the
bugtracker only 10 days after lunching
PR1.2 is a bad move and people didn't
really test it and have the sufficient time
to submit bugs . But it's not the main
problem . The main problem is that N9 was supposed to be a super social
phone , but lack a simple bunch of apps
like nimbuzz and Whatsapp and viber.
Therefore the success of it was good but
not everybody need open source systems.
And to add more the lumia's didn't lunch in all countries and the N9 is the only
flagship available . So please at least
make sure that those apps are being
developed for the N9 and because of QT
it will continue to other devices.

ok I know it's a very bad english
