version 1.0.9 (link above) doesn't seem to do it for me. after installing, tasks show up on the feed screen, but don't go away when i delete them in the calendar. also, new tasks and calendar entries aren't added to the feed screen.
i uninstalled and reinstalled twice, rebooted enough times to be sure that's not the problem.
apart from that, very nice work and many thanks

Ok that is rather odd - do you have the Terminal installed and can you please verify if the daemon is running (i.e. run "pgrep organiserfeedd" without the "" and check if it returns a number).
If it does not can you please check what happens when you run /opt/organiserfeed/bin/organiserfeedd (i.e. does it kick you back into the console with a Segmentation fault or does it keep running - you can then terminate it using Ctrl + C).
