You should try this : bzip2 -d NITDroid-0.0.9.tar.bz2

You can only bzip2 a file which has been compressed using .tar.bz2 extention , oh and see that you've placed this file in MyDocs and recheck what you've type many times

i completed almost all steps but the step about leafpad is not working. i also searched using filebox and i coundnt find the file 11 in mutiboot.
What is my problem??

ok DaReaper those are instraction im following n as u can see nitdroid is the same as u mentioned. and im trying to be careful off corse. thx much
6. Open x-term and do this:
sudo gainroot
mkdir /and
mount /home /and
apt-get install multiboot multiboot-kernel-power bzip2
cd /home/user/MyDocs
bzip2 -d NITDroid-0.0.9.tar.bz2
cd /and
tar xvf /home/user/MyDocs/NITDroid-0.0.9.tar
dpkg -i /home/user/MyDocs/nitdroid-kernel-2.6.28-06_final1_armel.deb
exit
root
umount /and
exit

i just want to know why is so freaking hard to install nitdroid? gosh !!!!!men i have been almost all night doing this, and so far i just managed to install the 0.0.8 version and right now is like big fight trying to install the 0.0.9. but definetely i wont sleep if i have to do it, until its installed, no matter ithat in 3 hours i have i very very long trip driving.

i have downloaded the file arround 3 times already and copied to the home /user/ blablabla directory, but when i open the ex -term and type the bzip2 -d and all the rest, there is message telling me that the file is corrupted any idea what it could be?
