I don't believe them any more. Those Amazon email is bullcrap. They just saying that to make you happier and stop emailing them. Thats all I can think off. They never replied my emails for quite sometimes now. I have to use the feedback comment to get their response email lol

Are you kidding? From what I gather you're in no place to judge as you live in NZ. When I lived in NZ I got books shipped to me from them super quick and super cheap.

I'm an Amazon Prime member so I pay $70 I think per year and everything gets shipped second day for free or overnight for $4. I order from them all the time and never have any issues - this is the first time ever I've had any sort of problem. This is just a fluke in my book and they're still one of the best online retailers.

What NZ online retailers are there that have such consistently low prices and good service? Exactly. And you're wondering why they don't respond to you? I don't wonder why.

well, because I dont have a prime account with them. They mainly support their Prime. Oh well everyone experienced different thing you know. Some may be lucky but seem like i'm very unlucky with amazon

I just checked amazon's site and the N900 is no longer in pre-order. It is just marked as temporarily out of stock.

I'll give them another 2 weeks. Since they are the only retailer that does not charge me tax for living in California.

while i agree with you on that amazon's approach and its delivery of the n900 has been less stellar and completely bs. I still consider amazon to be one of the best place to do online shopping. my experiences with them have been great. they are one of the few that have very competitive prices, no tax (in CA) and fast shipping. now with the n900, its a different story. thats just opinion.
