When you check your version number, look it up from App Manager (or dpkg/apt-get), as MeeCast itself claim to be still 0.6.2 (as Vlad confirmed in post #685)

Has anyone had issues updating the forecast with the 3G connection on bom.gov.au source?
I am using bom.gov.au - melbourne as a source. I can update no problems using WiFi, but when I use 3G and push the refresh button, nothing happens. The 'Last Update' section remains at the last WiFi update time.
Though, strangely, using The weather channel and the city Calgary, which I also use, it updates fine using 3G.
Any ideas?

I often get connectivity issues when connected to the net via 3G but never with WiFi.
Some users claim to get issues with both, but the former is more common.
