Ok.. Bought it, installed it and used it.. and it works. I used it today to go to work (about 10km) when I started mobile maps in my car it got a gps fix (I have A-gps on) in a few seconds. Calculating route took like 1-2 seconds (amazingly fast). And it got me to work

One thing I noticed is that the postion lags behind.. but this is not the programs fault, but the phones as it does this in the ovi maps also.. atleast in my device.

And also I found the map colors to look a llittle bit "oldish" for my taste :P but that's just me.. I like the colors in the ovi maps better

But all in all. Good app. Have to test some more on longer trips and see how it goes.

Now that the Sygic system finally is released for N900, I would appreciate if somebody could put this into perspective with the long hoped for Ovi Maps for N900. I realize many people need or want Sygic now, but would free Ovi Maps (when finally released for N900) make Sygic unnecessary? Also, I've read different things about the relationship between Sygic and Nokia. Any clarifications appreciated. Thanks!

Now all we need is the Continental US to be supported and I can finally retire my old GPS

for rotation and a lot more functions:
just rename your menu.ini to anything else, like menuold.ini.
the menu.ini is located in N900/drive/maemo/

for fullscreen version you have to edit another .ini file.. read some posts above..
